Joint Research with Industry

Research on brain function and complex neural circuits is still in its infancy. In the United States, one of the most advanced countries in neuroscience research, the Brain Activity Map, a national project to analyze human brain function, is a priority project that is being carried out in a hurry. This is because the clarification of the multilayered and functional information processing of the brain will give us an advantage in global business after the IT revolution as well as in the medical field. The Aoyama Laboratory aims to achieve next-generation innovations that can be returned to society through "the application and practice of knowledge" through active collaboration with companies that are interested in brain research.
